Reid commits to the Vols

Concord, North Carolina running back Rocky Reid has had the Vols as his leader for several weeks.
Saturday, Reid was one of nearly 70,000 fans to see the Vols in their annual orange and white game and the 6-foot, 210 pound back left with a decision to play in front of those fans in 2015, as he committed to the Vols.

"It's just a great place," Reid said via text. "It feels like family with you are there and around everyone and they offer a great education."
Reid was in town for the Vols junior day in March and left with a Vol offer. Since then, Reid has seen the offers roll in. NC State was next. Then Arkansas, Georgia Tech, West Virginia and most recently Wisconsin.
Reid hasn't been on the spring camp circuit, but it's his body of work from last fall that has garnered him more and more attention. Last season at Concord High School, Reid rushed for over 3,000 yards and racked up 39 touchdowns.
Reid becomes the 11th verbal commitment for Butch Jones in the class of 2015.
