Sapp is a Vol

Four-star linebacker Quarte Sapp committed Tennessee Thursday afternoon as the long-time Vol lean made it official at a press conference at his school.
Tennessee has been the team to beat for the 6-foot-1, 200-pound Alpharetta, Ga., outside linebacker since last spring and despite recent runs from Miami, Missouri and Michigan State, Tennessee is where Sapp wanted to be.

"Mostly the coaches," Sapp said of his decision to 11Alive.com, who live-streamed the announcement. "The fans are awesome up there, too."
Sapp becomes the third linebacker in the Vols' 2015 class along with early enrollee Darrin Kirkland Jr. and fellow Georgia linebacker Austin Smith.
Sapp is the No. 17 four-star or five-star commitment in the Vols class as Butch Jones will almost assuredly sign his second-straight top-10 class next week.
