Despite a winter storm unloading several inches of snow on Knoxville on Monday, there will be basketball played inside of Food City Center on Tuesday with a new start time.
Due to an expected temperature drop and potentially hazardous road conditions, No. 6 Tennessee's game against Florida, which was originally scheduled for 7 p.m. ET, will now tip-off two hours earlier at 5 p.m., the school announced Monday evening.

A television network is yet to be determined. The game was originally scheduled to air on ESPN.
Tennessee returns to its home floor after splitting SEC road games at Mississippi State and Georgia last week.
The Vols (12-4, 2-1 SEC) lost to Mississippi State after their late comeback bid came up short before erasing an 11-point second half deficit to down Georgia behind Dalton Knecht's 36 points on Saturday.
The Gators (11-5, 1-2) lost their first two conference games to Kentucky and Ole Miss but routed Arkansas, 90-68 in their last outing on Saturday.
The match up between Tennessee and Florida is the lone meeting between the two teams this season. The Gators beat the Vols, 67-54 in Gainesville last season.
The Vols are 8-0 at home in 2023-24 and have won 11-straight games there dating back to last season. Tennessee routed a ranked Ole Miss team, 90-64 in its last game at home on Jan. 6.
