Tennessee released designations for four home games during the 2025 football season on Wednesday.

The Vols will hold their annual "Checker Neyland" game for the ninth time on Sept. 13 against Georgia at Neyland Stadium, and will recognize former two-time All-American Tennessee defensive lineman and recent College Football Hall of Fame inductee John Henderson.

The Vols will honor past Tennessee SEC and NCAA championship players and teams as part of its "Champions Weekend," against Arkansas on Oct. 11 before its Homecoming Game and "Salute to Service" game vs. New Mexico State on Nov. 15.

Senior Day is slated for the Vols' regular season finale against Vanderbilt on Nov. 29.

Tennessee is looking to continue its success on its home turf under Josh Heupel next season.

The Vols, who are coming off of their first-ever College Football Playoff appearance, are 25-4 at Neyland Stadium over the last four seasons, including multiple wins over rivals Alabama and Florida.

Tennessee's upcoming home slate includes games against East Tennessee State, UAB, Mississippi State and Oklahoma.

The school announced last month that it had sold out its season ticket allotment for the third-straight year with 70,500 tickets purchased for seven home games. The Vols averaged more than 101,000 fans last season.

"Vol Nation continues to lead the way as the best fan base in all of sports," Tennessee athletics director Danny White said. "In this era of college athletics, it is almost unheard of to sell out over 70,000 season tickets for three consecutive seasons. The Neyland Effect will be in full force on Rocky Top this fall!"

The Vols will open their season against Syracuse in the Aflac Kickoff Game on Aug. 30 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta (Noon ET, ABC).

Tennessee's SEC schedule will flip. After playing at Georgia, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Vanderbilt last season, the Vols will play the four teams in Knoxville, with road games at Alabama, Mississippi State, Florida and Kentucky.

The Vols beat the Gators, 23-17 in overtime in their Checker Neyland game and defeated Mississippi State, 33-14 on Homecoming last season.
