Several Tennessee commitments, along with a number of top targets, started their season Friday night and we bring a quick recap of some of the best performances from the group.

Chandler opened his senior season with a big night after rushing for 226 yards on just 21 carries. It wasn't enough

Jackson started off the season with a strong outing as he scored three rushing touchdowns from his quarterback spot on just nine carries. In all, Jackson finished with 112 rushing yards for Overton in its season-opening win over Stewards Creek.

The 2018 Tennessee commitment scored four rushing touchdowns, passed for one and caught one as well as Coffee County routed Tullahoma, 49-10. On just 10 carries, Taylor finished with 293 rushing yards.

Prince, and fellow Tennessee commitment Maleik Gray, fell to Smyrna Friday night, but Fant played well in his first game back after missing his junior year because of a knee injury. Fant caught five passes for 87 yards in his return.

Not a commitment, but quickly becoming a top target for the Vols in 2018, Fields had himself a game, or rather a half. In the first half alone, Fields threw four touchdown passes and ran for another. He played the first series of the second half before leaving the game as his team was up 45-7.
