Palmer is a former Syracuse commitment, who visited UCLA this past weekend and was scheduled to visit Ohio State this coming weekend.

Palmer was impressed with not only the opportunity for early playing time but also the atmosphere in Knoxville.

“The facilities are great. I’d never been to Tennessee before. I was really surprised at everything, the complex, the weight room and everything. All that stuff stood out,” Palmer offered after his visit to Knoxville..

Palmer was hosted on his trip by young receivers Latrell Williams and Brandon Johnson, and those two along with the rest of the current team made a positive impression.

“The players here stood out to me. I felt like I really clicked with them a lot. I really enjoyed the coaches, coach Jones and everyone, they’re really good people,” Palmer said.
