The Tennessee football team has their third commitment of the recruiting season.
On Monday, Jonathan Wade of Shreveport, Louisiana told Volquest.com that Tennessee was the leader for his services.

This morning (Wednesday), Wade sealed the deal.
“I am a Vol,” said Wade. “I called coach Fulmer this morning before football practice. He seemed excited and so did Coach Anderson the sprinters coach up there.”
Wade was not highly known this spring and admits that he had received the fewest amount of letters from Tennessee, but the defensive back/wide receiver wowed everyone in June when he attended one of Tennessee’s football camps and the two sides fell in love which each other.
“It is the perfect place for me,” allowed Wade. “I could not ask for a better set up for both track and football. No other place was going to let me go full time to track right after the bowl game. They have a great football program and they just won the national title in track and everyone is coming back for them.”
Wade, who broke the camp 40 record by running what he called a stumbling 4.37 on the new turf in the complex said it was just his destiny to be a Vol.
“I would not have had such a good camp there, if it were not the place to me,” offered Wade. “It just feels like a family up there. I just felt like I had known everyone for a while. The star players are so nice to you. At the camp, I met the quarterback and we talked for a good while. I had never met him before, but we talked like we had been friends for a long time.”
The 5-11, 167 pound speedster said on Monday that he was interested in taking some other visits, but now after making his commitment to Tennessee, Wade is not so sure.
“I am firm to Tennessee,” said Wade. “That is where I am going to school. I would not mind taking a trip to somewhere like UCLA or Miami just to take a trip and see some places, but it really does not matter.”
Wade joins Justin Harrell and James Wilhoit as early commitments to the Vols.
