Weekend visitor board

The Skinny: Jordan is an interesting story. The Florida native was at one time a Western Kentucky commitment, but after a fantastic senior season, many big schools have come calling including North Carolina and Tennessee.

Jordan visited the Tar Heels last weekend. He sees Tennessee this week and is scheduled to visit Purdue the last weekend. The tie to Purdue is obviously Jeff Brohm. Brohm was the head coach at Western Kentucky when Jordan committed to the Hilltoppers but left to take the job at Purdue.

Tennessee wants to close this class with another tailback. Last week, Louisiana native Travis Etienne visited and next week New Jersey tailback John Lovett is scheduled to visit. We are keeping an eye out to make sure there's no other last minute running back names to show up. But it appears the first one who wants to commit will get the final running back spot in the class.

The Skinny: Sterling has been on Tennessee's campus multiple times, but the Vols have been battling South Carolina and are thought by most to still be chasing the Gamecocks for the four-star interior lineman.

Sterling was a one time Alabama commitment and has also visited Georgia, but the the two main schools for Sterling have been the Gamecocks and the Vols.

The 6-1, 260 pound defensive lineman has spoke a great deal about his relationship with the Gamecock coaching staff. However, Tennessee has never been completely out of the picture.
