Walton also held offers from notable schools of Arkansas, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisville, Memphis, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt and West Virginia.
He took a visit to Knoxville for the game against Georgia last season.
In March, Walton appeared at the Izell Reese Camp. Rivals.com's Brandon Howard was in attendance and named him a defensive back MVP.
"Walton is very long for a defensive back and stands out at both corner and safety due to his ball skills and awareness," said Howard in an article. "He went against the best all day long and never backed down."
Walton currently does not have a rating on Rivals.com but will have his senior season to continue to rise.
