Tennessee's offensive line has been searching for continuity since injuries riddled the unit all through Fall camp. The revolving door at certain positions up front continued into the season as the Vols have started four different combinations in five games.

One of the possible combinations is now gone as redshirt sophomore guard Venzell Boulware has left the program. Boulware tweeted out his departure moments ago.

The Georgia native met with head coach Butch Jones over the weekend to request a transfer. It's unclear at this point where Boulware is being released to or where he wants to go. Because of his age and length of time at a power 5 school, transferring to a junior college is not an option.

Boulware started the UMass game but didn't play in Saturday's 41-0 loss to Georgia. In 2016, Boulware played in seven games and started three games Alabama, Missouri and Vanderbilt. Boulware started to find his groove and drew praise from coaches late in the season, but missed the Music City Bowl due to academics. He subsequently missed Spring practice due to injury.
