The Vols tied Florida State and Wake Forest for the most players on the list. The SEC led all leagues with 14 players.

In his first season at Tennessee since transferring from Ole Miss, Doyle has headlined the Vols’ weekend pithing staff as the Friday starter.

The junior left-hander leads the nation in strikeouts with 73 and is averaging 17.92 strikeouts per nine innings. He is 4-1 on the season and currently has a 2.95 ERA.

Phillips, who arrived at Tennessee last season as a junior college transfer, worked his way into a starting role on Saturdays and leads the SEC with a 2.02 ERA in seven starts.

Phillips is 2-0 and has recorded 42 strikeouts this season.

Kilen, another transfer that began his career at Louisville, paces Tennessee’s batting order with a .425 batting average.

The second baseman has a .546 on-base percentage, .973 slugging percentage and three triples. He ranks second on the team with 10 home runs.

The Vols have been well represented on the midseason award watch lists. Tennessee head coach Tony Vitello was named the Midseason Coach of the Year by both D1Baseball and Perfect Game this week.

Perfect Game also tabbed the Vols as the Midseason Team of the Year.

Top-ranked Tennessee (27-2, 8-1 SEC) hosts Texas A&M (14-14, 1-8) in a rematch of the College World Series final at Lindsey Nelson Stadium this weekend.
