There is a new first pitch time for Tennessee baseball's SEC Tournament Semifinals game against Vanderbilt.

The game originally scheduled for 1 p.m. ET has been moved up to 11 a.m. due to inclement weather in the forecast during the afternoon.

There will be a game played 30 minutes after the conclusion of the 8-seed Vols and 4-seed Commodores to decide the other team in the finals.

Tennessee has earned a spot in the semifinals after a pair of wins in the tournament. The Vols opened up the event with a strong 15-10 win over 9-seed Alabama.

UT produced 20 hits in the game, the most of any this season for Tennessee. This included at least one hit from every starter in the batting order.

In the quarterfinals, the Vols met 1-seed Texas. After going down 4-0, Tennessee fired back with back-to-back two-run innings to tie the game.

In the 10th, both teams scored one run to keep the game alive, including a solo shot from Gavin Kilen. Kilen followed it up with a two-run double in the 12th to secure a victory.

"For me, I don't want to mess it up. It was too good of a game to say too much. It was an ESPN Classic," Tennessee coach Tony Vitello said after the game. "I'll recycle an answer I talked about with the guys up there. One of my favorite periods of MLB playoff baseball was when Kenny Rogers, at a much older age than Brandon Arvidson, went on a tear, and him being out there left-handed, just kind of reminded me of that, and enjoyed it. It would have been unfair for it to work out against his favor, especially if he was on the mound. But it's not fair, it's chaotic, and it's postseason baseball."

Vanderbilt got a double-bye directly to the quarterfinals. The Commodores met 12-seed Oklahoma who it handled with a 6-1 victory.

Tennessee and Vanderbilt have already met for a series in Knoxville this season. In the penultimate SEC set of the regular season, the Vols grabbed a game one win behind a strong showing from Liam Doyle.

However, the Commodores snagged games two and three with tempers flaring during and after the games.

The semifinal games will air on SEC Network on Saturday. Sunday's SEC title game will air on ESPN2 with a scheduled start of 3 p.m. ET.
