Vols aging well in late-season surge
At some point here as an unseasonably cold Saturday stretched from afternoon unto evening, a Tennessee team as youthful as any across the college football landscape took another step of growth --- and of growing up --- even as the Vols started yet another true freshman.
Emmanuel Moseley earned his first career start, the 10th rookie to get an opening nod this season, and the temperature nearly dipped equal to number of true freshmen played since kickoff 2014: 23.

Behind Dobbs, offense clicking on all cylinders
The recipe was simple for the Tennessee offense on Saturday against Kentucky.
Rely on the run game and continue to put sophomore quarterback Joshua Dobbs in good position to make plays with both his arm and legs.
It might have been simple, but for the third straight game it worked as the Vols easily defeated the Wildcats, 50-16.
Tennessee piled up 511 total yards, scored on a one-play possession, a 14-play possession and just about everything in between.

Vols' D takes away big plays
Tennessee held Kentucky to 16 points, one touchdown, three field goals and forced two turnovers, scoring 14 points off of two interceptions - every bit as big a part of the storyline on a night when the offense hung half a hundred on the scoreboard in a 50-16 win.
