Average finish
The public isn't worried about Tennessee getting upset by 15-seed Wofford. 96% of brackets have the Vols winning their opening game. This is tied with Alabama for the highest percentage of picks for a 2-seed in its opening game.
The next round is commonly picked to be against 7-seed UCLA. 68% of people have the Bruins downing 10-seed Utah State. In that matchup, 88% of people have Tennessee advancing to the Sweet 16.
The Sweet 16 is most commonly picked to be between the Vols and 3-seed Kentucky. While the Wildcats have already beat Tennessee twice this year, the public seemingly doesn't think a third win is likely. 71% of brackets with that matchup have the Vols dancing to their third-ever Elite Eight.
For a trip to the Final Four, the most common matchup is between Tennessee and 1-seed Houston. This gets narrow on who people think will win, with 59% of people picking the Cougars.
