The Jonesboro (Ga.) standout has taken visits to Georgia State, Georgia Tech, Kentucky and Ohio State so far. He has plans to get to Clemson, Tennessee, UCF and any other schools that give him the option to visit.

Owens has not yet had a chance to talk to the coaches at Tennessee as his recruitment is just taking off and he is only a sophomore in high school. However, he is looking forward to building a relationship with the Vols' staff, and other programs as well.

"I was happy (when I received the offer), but I don’t really have reactions when I get offers," Owens told VolReport. "I don’t let it get to my head."
