As reported in the War Room, sources tell Volquest.com that junior quarterback Quinten Dormady visited Chicago on Wednesday and Thursday to have tests run on his right shoulder.

Tennessee officials tell Volquest.com Dormady will travel with the team to Tuscaloosa for tomorrow’s game against the top-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide. When asked about his availability to play, officials say he's expected to be available. The Vols will also travel true freshman quarterback Will McBride. McBride, who enrolled in January, has not played this year and the plan has been to redshirt him.

Dormady started the first five games of the season before Tennessee made a switch to Guarantano coming out the bye week. The Texas native has thrown for 925 yards, completing 55 percent of his passes with six touchdowns and six interceptions.

The highlight of his first year as a starter came in the opener, as Dormady lead a second half comeback against Georgia Tech.
