Tennessee has signed another player to help fill the gaps in the secondary.

Safety Edrees Farooq has officially signed with the Vols.

Farooq will provide much-needed depth to Tennessee's secondary. As a safety, he is able to both the free and strong positions.

He is quick to step up in the run game to lay hits and stop ball carriers. He is physical in his tackling but still maintains effective form.

In coverage, Farooq does a solid job covering leaking tight ends and running backs out of the safety position. He is also capable of falling into a high zone to take away deep shots.
