The best player in the Volunteer State, Boo Carter, has signed with Tennessee.

The four-star ATH put pen to paper on Wednesday during the Early Signing Period.

The No. 1 player in the state, Carter has big play capability no matter where you line him up. The two-way player has multiple skillsets that allow him to be effective in multiple phases of the game.

Carter possesses speed, strength and vision, which are three of the main attributes that lead to the success on the field. Tennessee will have options of lining the four-star athlete up in many positions of need, when needed

The current plan seem to have the in-state product working as a defensive back as the Vols are very youthful at the position. Adding the return duties allow an explosive playmaker the chance to show what can be done in open field.
