Former Tennessee basketball players take part in the 2024 NBA Summer League

Before the NBA's preseason, it holds a Summer League for incoming rookies and other young prospects looking to get their foot in the door.

The 2024 Summer League will feature a bulk of former Tennessee basketball stars who are set to compete.

Here's the list of Vols.

DALTON KNECHT - LAKERS

The lone Tennessee player to be picked in the recent 2024 NBA Draft was Dalton Knecht with the Lakers. The No. 17 pick will be paired up with Bronny James, the son of Lebron James, with all eyes on the Los Angeles team.

His first game is set for July 6 at 4:30 p.m. ET against the Kings.

JOSIAH-JORDAN JAMES - PACERS

After playing a big role with the Vols on their Elite Eight run, Josiah-Jordan James will play with the Pacers on an Exhibit 10 contract. This gives him a one-year minimum contract with an invitation to try out for the team. This could turn into a G-League or two-way contract.

His first game is set for July 12 at 8 p.m. ET against the Nets.

SANTIAGO VESCOVI - WARRIORS

The final recent Tennessee standout is Santiago Vescovi. He will play with the Warriors with the chance to impress.

His first game is set for July 6 at 6:30 p.m. ET against the Heat.

JULIAN PHILLIPS - BULLS

Following his rookie season, Julian Phillips is returning to the summer league. He posted 2.2 points and 0.9 rebounds per game in 40 matches played.

His first game is set for July 13 at 4:30 p.m. ET against the Bucks.

KENNEDY CHANDLER - PORTLAND TRAIL BLAZERS

Another one-and-done player that shined at Tennessee was Kennedy Chandler. He has bounced around the league in two seasons. His lone NBA action came in the 2022-23 season with the Grizzlies where he averaged 2.2 points, 1.6 assists and 1.1 rebounds per game in 36 appearances.

His first game is set for July 13 at 9 p.m. ET against the Spurs.

JADEN SPRINGER - CELTICS

Coming off winning a ring with the Celtics. This was his third season in the league. After being traded to Boston, he appeared in 17 games with one start and averaged 2.1 points per game.

His first game is set for July 13 at 6:30 p.m. ET against the Heat.

KEON JOHNSON - NETS

A one-and-done alongside Springer was Keon Johnson. He's played for three teams in three years and most recently finished 2024 with the Nets. He played five games there and averaged 6.2 points.

His first game is set for July 12 at 8 p.m. ET against the Pacers.

YVES PONS - KINGS

Yves Pons has spent most of his professional career overseas most recently with Basquet Girona. He previously had a stint with the Grizzlies, though.

His first game with the Kings is set for July 6 at 4:30 p.m. ET against the Lakers. He'll have another game that day against China, as well, at 10:30 p.m. ET.

JORDAN BOWDEN - HAWKS

Jordan Bowden has carved out a nice G-League career along with overseas play. Now, he'll help out the Hawks.

His first game is set for July 12 at 9:30 p.m. ET against the Wizards.
