Tennessee baseball got back in the win column, but it wasn't necessarily dominant.
The No. 17 Vols pushed for a win over Belmont, 9-4, in the home finale that featured an hour-long weather delay.
Tennessee (40-13) honored its lone senior, Hunter Ensley, prior to the game as a part of Senior Day festivities ahed of playing the Bruins (24-29).

Ensley responded with a productive day in limited time. He singled in the first inning before sending a solo shot to the porches in the second. He was subbed out after the Vols took the field to be replaced by Colby Backus.
Ensley received a standing ovation as he exited the field.
The other home run that left the yard was off the bat of Andrew Fischer. He ripped a three-run shot in the at-bat prior to Ensley.
On the mound, Michael Sharman got the start. He went two innings while allowing one hit and no runs. He was followed up by Thomas Crabtree, Andrew Behnke, Austin Breedlove and Brayden Krenzel who all allowed a single run in their outings.
WHAT HAPPENED
In the first inning of action, both teams got a runner on, but neither could take advantage to push a run across.
After allowing a hit in the top of the second, the Vols got out of the inning again unscathed. In the bottom of the second, the bats woke up.
Levi Clark opened the frame with a walk. After a fielder's choice, an error put runners on first and second with one down. That made was for Reese Chapman to load the bases with a single.
Gavin Kilen then grounded out, but it was enough to score the first run of the game. In the following at-bat, things broke open, though.
Fischer got under a ball, but had enough power to pop it over the wall in right field. This made it a four-run advantage as a three-run shot.
In the following at-bat, Ensley, on his Senior Day, took a ball to the porches in left field. This gave the Vols a 5-0 lead.
Dalton Bargo then drew a walk as the last batter prior to the delay taking effect. When things got back to action, no further damage was added.
In the fourth and fifth innings, Belmont started to do damage. In both frames, the Bruins added a run.
In the seventh, Belmont added another. In the bottom of the inning, Tennessee's bats came back alive. The Vols put up a four-spot to extend the lead to 9-3.
This offense came from balls kept in the park. Of RBI by Clark, Stone Lawless and Kilen, each weren't home runs. Clark used a single, Lawless roped a double and Kilen was thrown out at second trying to push for a double.
In the top of the eighth with two outs, Belmont ripped a double to score a runner from first. This made it a 9-4 game.
That's what the score would sit at as it was finalized.
