On Monday, it was announced that Walker would join Central Michigan's coaching staff for the upcoming season.

This is her third season as a full-time coach after her college career came to an end with Tennessee.

"I'm excited to welcome Jordan to our program," Central Michigan head coach Kristin Haynie said. "I love how she sees the game—our guards are in great hands. They'll benefit not only from her experience as an elite player, but also from her ability to teach and break the game down.

"What makes her truly special is that she cares first about helping our players grow into confident, successful young women."

Walker spent her first season as a college coach with Mercer in the 2023-24 campaign. There, she helped the team went 15-17 overall and 8-6 in the SoCon. This was a three-win improvement from the previous season.

There, she oversaw guard/point guard development and coached three all-conference guards in her lone season.

After her season with Mercer, she went on to help at Jacksonville. She helped the Dolphins go 14-17 record and 8-10 in the ASUN. This was another three-game improvement from the program's year prior.

"Coming back home to coach the game I love is a dream come true," Walker said. "I'm honored and humbled to step into this role. I'm especially grateful to be joining a program with such great history, culture and people, and so thankful to Coach Haynie for the opportunity."

Walker played three seasons at Tennessee where she was asked to move into point guard duties. She started in 77 of her 96 appearances with the Lady Vols while averaging 6.3 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game in her three years.

This included scoring in double figures in 20 games.

Prior to Tennessee, Walker played three seasons at Western Michigan. She started in 54 of her 64 appearances while averaging 11.8 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.8 steals per game.

Walker is from Michigan where she was named Michigan Miss Basketball in 2017.
