Peach State RB Lyn-J Dixon decommits from Tennessee

Following Tennessee's 15-9 loss to South Carolina on Saturday, 3-star tailback commit Lyn-J Dixon tweeted that he was reopening his recruitment.

Dixon, who verbally pledged to the Vols in late June, becomes the third member of Tennessee's 2018 class to decommit in the last three weeks, joining wideout Jatavious Harris and safety Brendon Harris.

Dixon originally picked Tennessee over more than 20 offers. The 5-foot-11, 185-pound tailback had more than 2,500 all-purpose yards and 38 touchdowns as a junior, but has been slowed by an ankle injury for much of his senior season. Clemson is expected to be a team to watch with Dixon moving forward.
