Quick HiTs: Vols continue prep for UK

Tennessee held its final Wednesday practice of the season today as Butch Jones' first Tennessee plays its final game Saturday against Kentucky at Commonwealth Stadium.
Like Tuesday, Wednesday's practice was inside the Neyland-Thompson Sports Center and once again Marquez North didn't practice as he spent a few minutes at the beginning of practice with veteran trainer Jason McVeigh as he still remains day-to-day for the 7 p.m. kickoff against the Wildcats.

A.J. Branisel was at practice on crutches as he's just a few days removed from ACL surgery. FreshmenMalik Brown and >Ryan Jenkins were on the side and didn't participate while freshman offensive lineman Dylan Wiesman had his pads on but didn't participate during the media viewing periods.
Woody Quinn, Joe Stocstill, Jaron Toney, Brian Randolpj, Rajion Neal, Jacob Carter, Cody Blanc, Drae Bowles and Justus Pickett were all in green, non-contact jerseys on Wednesday.
Tennessee offensive lineman Kyler Kerbyson lined up at tight end at times as the Vols continue to explore a jumbo package.
During punt coverage drills Butch Jones made the coverage team repeat a punt cover several times because he wasn't happy with the Vols and let them know about it on his trademark practice microphone.
VolQuest.com will have full post-practice coverage Wednesday night, including stories on Mike Bajakian's to get the offense restarted against Kentucky and more.
