Tennessee football is predicted to bring in one of the top linemen in the 2026 class.

Sam Spiegelman of Rivals logged a prediction for four-star tackle Leo Delaney to pick the Vols.

He is the No. 16 player out of North Carolina and No. 49 offensive tackle in his class.

"Leo Delaney is coming off a big spring that included return visits to leading contenders such as Clemson, South Carolina, Michigan and Tennessee. The four-star OT was a teammate of five-star Tennessee signee David Sanders Jr. last year and there's a sense that these two could be playing together again down the line.

"Multiple sources have pointed to the Vols as the program to beat in Delaney's recruitment, and I've logged a Rivals FutureCast in favor of Tennessee, which has been incredibly successful recruiting North Carolina blue-chip talent under Josh Heupel."

This would continue Tennessee's impressive recruiting streak out of North Carolina. Already committed in the 2026 class is Faizon Brandon out of Greensboro. He is a five-star quarterback and No. 2 player in the class.

UT also holds the commitment of Tyran Evans. He is a three-star wide receiver in the 2026 class out of Cornelius, North Carolina.

In the 2025 class, the Vols reeled in five-star offensive tackle David Sanders Jr. Sanders was teammates with Delaney at Providence Day in North Carolina. He was the highest-rated commit in the class for Tennessee.

The Vols also brought in four-star defensive tackle Isaiah Campbell and lineman Charles House in the 2025 cycle.

Tennessee is also home to Daevin Hobbs, one of the top prospects out of the state in 2023. Quarterback Hendon Hooker also is from North Carolina prior to him transferring in from Virginia Tech.

The Vols are currently home to eight verbal commits in the 2026 class. This features a five-star quarterback at the top, four four-stars and a trio of three-stars.

This is good for the No. 8 class in the cycle.
