Tennessee football rising sophomore running back Peyton Lewis is giving back to his hometown community.

On June 14, Lewis is partnering with 'Legends of Tennessee' to hold a camp in his hometown of Salem, Virginia. It will run from 9 a.m. ET to 1 p.m at Salem Stadium.

After selling out all spots, Lewis is opening up more positions. Starting at 8 a.m. on Thursday, May 8, he is allowing 30 more tickets to be grabbed. The camp is free to attend.

About the event

On the website detailing the event, Lewis gave a run down of what to expect.

"Lace up your cleats and join Salem's own for a day of high-energy football at Salem High School, Salem, VA. This camp is your chance to dive into skill-building drills, competition, and an all-around fun football experience. Open to players ages 5-14 of all levels, you'll receive expert coaching and have the opportunity to improve your game significantly. Don't miss this exciting first-time event to train, compete, and make lasting memories. See you on the field!"

He also detailed an itinerary for what campers will do throughout the morning and early afternoon:

9:00 AM: Registration

10:00 AM: Welcome and Introductions (Peyton Lewis Introduction & Coaches Introduction)

10:30 AM: Dynamic Warm-up

10:45 AM: Agility Stations

11:20 AM - 12:00 PM: Offensive Position Training

12:00PM - 12:30 PM: Defensive Position Training

1:00 PM: Lunch, Autographs, and Photos with Campers

Lewis' Tennessee career off to a strong start

Lewis is coming off his first season at Tennessee. He entered as a four-star recruit, the No. 20 running back in the class and No. 5 player out of Virginia.

As a freshman, Lewis played in all 13 games with time split between running back and special teams.

On the ground, he posted 64 attempts for 339 yards and three touchdowns. He also caught four passes for 14 yards.

As a kick returner, he took seven returns for 151 yards. This was good for an average of 21.6 yards per attempt.

In the playoff game against Ohio State on the road, Lewis ran the ball 10 times for 77 yards. He also caught three passes for seven yards.
