As Tennessee football looks to plug holes on its roster during the spring portal window, it extended an offer to one of the most dynamic receivers in the country.

Keelan Marion, a former BYU receiver and return specialist, announced on his Twitter/X that the Vols had extended him an offer.

Other schools Marion announced offers from on Sunday included West Virginia, Baylor, Florida State, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kentucky, Arizona State, Miami and SMU. He noted his name was officially in the transfer portal at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday night.

Marion is coming off an impressive season at BYU that featured him earning multiple All-American honors for his return abilities.

He was named the First Team All-American return specialist (Walter Camp, FWAA, Pro Football Focus, CBS Sports, Phil Steele) and the Second Team All-American return specialist (Sporting News, College Football Network).

This also resulted in multiple conference accolades. He earned Big 12 Kick Returner of the Year (College Football Network), All-Big 12 First Team return specialist (College Football Network, Phil Steele), All-Big 12 Second Team return specialist (Big 12 Coaches) and Second Team All-Big 12 all-purpose performer (AP).

In 2024, he returned 18 kicks for 347 yards and two touchdowns. He did not return punts.

As a receiver, Marion produced 24 receptions for 346 yards and a touchdown. He also ran for 96 yards and two scores.

This was his second season with the Cougars. In his first year with the program, he racked up 216 receiving yards and rushed for three scores.

Prior to his time at BYU, Marion played three seasons at UConn. There, he sat out the 2020 campaign while earning a redshirt. In 2021, as a redshirt freshman, he started all 12 games while leading the team in receiving yards with 474 to go with five touchdowns.

In 2022, he appeared in just four games before suffering an injury that would hold him out for the remainder of the season. This earned him a medical redshirt before he transferred to BYU.

Marion was a two-star recruit out of Palmetto Academy in Charleston, South Carolina.

Prior to this final season of prep ball, he finished his high school career playing for Grayson High School in Georgia.

With Palmetto Academy, he caught four touchdown passes.
