Dean Curley and Reese Chapman each accounted for three RBIs. Chapman's came on one swing, a home run to right field to walk off the Gators and headline an 11-hit performance for the Tennessee (19-0) lineup.
Right-handed starting pitcher Marcus Phillips (2-0) was masterful, striking out seven and allowing just five hits in 7.0 innings of work.
Florida (16-4) was unable to take advantage of two base-runners in the first inning and only got three runners on base the rest of the game.
Gators' starter Aidan King (3-1) took his first loss of the season.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Florida was inches away from striking first for the second-straight game.
Landon Stripling sent a Marcus Phillips pitch to the wall in left field, but Jay Abernathy jumped up and snagged it. The Gators were left scoreless in the top of the second inning and Tennessee took advantage.
Manny Marin singled to center field in the bottom half to score Levi Clark and put the Vols up 1-0 through two.
That run was seemingly enough with the way Phillips was pitching. He rendered the Florida lineup useless for much of the afternoon, giving up five hits but holding them scoreless.
But just for good measure, Tennessee blew the game open in the seventh.
It started with a Reese Chapman single through the right side, Marin singled. An Abernathy walk loaded the bases with just one out for Dean Curley.
Curley doubled down the line in left and plated two to give Tennessee a 4-0 cushion.
Florida never got out of the inning. It went through three other arms have Kings exited, but none of the three had an answer for the Vols' lineup.
Hunter Ensley singled to left to score Chapman, then Andrew Fischer drove in two more runs on another single to left-center that stretched the Tennessee lead to 7-0.
It set the stage for Chapman. In his second trip through the order, he landed the knockout blow with his three-run shot to right.
