Tennessee emerged from a two-game road stand last week 1-1.

The Vols were upset at Mississippi State before turning around and coming from behind to beat Georgia.

Now, sixth-ranked Tennessee (12-4, 2-1 SEC) returns to its home floor for the first time in more than a week against Florida (11-5, 1-2) on Tuesday at Food City Center, with an earlier tip-off time due to winter weather.

The Vols are looking to build off of their gritty win at Georgia, which included a 36-point performance from Dalton Knecht and other heroics from Zakai Zeigler, Santiago Vescovi and Jonas Aidoo to erase a double-digit second half deficit to avoid back-to-back conference losses.

It was a positive response for a Tennessee team that fell behind early at Mississippi State and never fully recovered despite tying the game late.

Florida marks the first of two-straight home games where the Vols have won 11-straight games dating back to last season and a venue the Gators haven't been triumphant inside of in a decade.

Florida, which started league play 0-2, routed Arkansas, 90-68 in its last outing behind 20 points from guard Riley Kugel.

Here is a closer look at the match up.

Pregame Notes

-- Tennessee guard Dalton Knecht was named Co-SEC Player of the Week on Monday after averaging 32.0 points in two games last week. Knecht is the fourth player in program history to score 35-plus points in multiple road games in a single season. He joins Bernard King, Allan Houston and Grant Williams.

-- Tennessee forward Jonas Aidoo had a bounce-back performance against Georgia, scoring 10 points and grabbing a career-high 15 rebounds for his fourth double-double this season. He is the first Vols player to total 15 or more rebounds in a single game since Kyle Alexnader did it vs. Missouri in 2019.

-- Tennessee has won six-straight home games against Florida and is 7-2 in the last nine meetings. The Vols won the last match up at Food City Center, 65-54 on March 7, 2021. Florida's last win in Knoxville was on Feb. 11, 2014.
