After dropping its most recent mid-week clash, Tennessee got back on track.
The No. 1 Vols blew past visiting Queens 14-3 on Tuesday night. This came after a loss to ETSU the prior week.
Tennessee (23-2) took advantage of poor pitching from the Royals (4-19) to put up the bulk of their runs. The Vols walked nine times and ate four hit-by-pitches to put runners on.

A pair of homers from Dalton Bargo and Blake Grimmer also did a job of pushing across three runs. Recording multiple hits were Grimmer, Andrew Fischer and Reese Chapman.
The Vols totaled 12 hits in the game to help push across their 14 runs.
Getting the start on the mound for Tennessee was Michael Sharman. He produced one inning of work where he sat the side down in order before making way for the bullpen to be released.
10 pitchers threw for the Vols in the match. The finest outing came from Brandon Arvidson. He went two full frames while giving up no hits and striking out four batters.
The only runs allowed in the game came off Andrew Behnke. The reliever allowed three to cross on two hits while only retiring one batter.
As a team, the staff allowed just five hits with two coming during Behnke's outing. Tennessee's defense also committed two errors behind the pitching. Those went to Stone Lawless and Ariel Antigua.
HOW IT HAPPENED
After a 1-2-3 inning from Michael Sharman to get the game started, the Vols got on the board in a hurry. Bargo lifted a ball to left that escaped into the porches for a solo shot.
While the bats stayed hot in the inning, that was the only run to cross.
Tennessee would put up another run in the following frame, though. This time, it was a Grimmer ground out that was enough to score Chapman.
In the top of the fourth, Queens got its first hit. A solo shot from Anibal Rivera made it a 2-1 game. Behnke got into more trouble after that, allowing two on with one out before getting pulled.
Austin Hunley entered and with two down, a throwing error on a steal pushed across the tying run. That same at-bat, an RBI single to left was enough for a runner to get home before Bargo's throw. This gave Queens a 3-2 lead heading into the bottom of the frame.
Tennessee evened things up in the bottom of the fifth. The Vols used a walk and pair of hit-by-pitches to load the bases with two outs. Fischer worked a full count before taking ball four to push in the tying run and forcing a pitching change.
After the change, Tennessee pushed across another run via a Lawless walk. Then, Chapman ripped a single to right field to score another pair. With the bases reloaded, the Vols got another pair across with a Grimmer single to right.
This left the score at an 8-3 advantage for Tennessee.
The Vols got their next push in the following frame. They used a Fischer single to score two with just one out. A deep sac-fly from Chris Newstrom and score on a passed ball pushed the score up to 12-3.
Tennessee's next run came off the bat of Grimmer in the bottom of the eighth. He sent a two-run shot to right field to push the lead up to 11.
This made way for Luke Payne and Nic Abraham to enter and shut things down to secure the win.
