North Carolina DL Isaac Washington commits to the Vols, re-joins 2021 class
North Carolina defensive tackle Isaac Washington decommitted from Tennessee last month after defensive line coach Tracy Rocker and the Vols parted ways. Washington noted he didn't know new defensive line coach Jimmy Brumbaugh. Saturday, Washington spent much of the day with Brumbaugh on the Vol campus and liked the new defensive line coaches personality and message.
"He's a good coach," Washington said. "He's a good teacher. He can teach. He's my position coach so it was really big to get to know him. He was good. We talked about everything how the defensive line looked and how the defense works. Just everything like that."
Shortly following his departure from his day on Rocky Top, Washington re-committed to the Vols.
