Tennessee baseball's opening game of the 2025 NCAA Tournament is under a weather delay.

The 14-seed Vols and Miami (OH) have pushed back their start time from 6 p.m. ET to 7:06. The game will air on ESPNU and ESPN+.

5:25 p.m. - Heavy rain hits Lindsey Nelson Stadium

This is Tennessee's first game of the Knoxville Regional, but the second match of the event. Earlier on Friday, Wake Forest and Cincinnati met up in Lindsey Nelson Stadium.

The result was an 11-6 win for the Bearcats. This puts them in the winner's bracket as they will face the winner of the Vols and RedHawks.

On the other side, the Demon Deacons are a loss away from being eliminated.

The format is a two-loss elimination bracket all the way through. The winner advances to the super regionals to play the winner of 3-seed Arkansas' Fayetteville Regional.
