Tennessee is going after consecutive SEC titles in the tournament and third under Tony Vitello.

In program history, the Vols have won five conference tournament titles in 2024, 2022, 1995, 1994 and 1993.

Tennessee has five regular season conference in 2024, 2022, 1995, 1994 and 1951.

This year, the Vols finished eighth in the conference’s regular season slate while going 16-14 in conference play. They are on an icey stretch, losing their previous five SEC series.

If Tennessee wins its first game of this year’s tournament, it will place top-seeded Texas on Thursday at 3 p.m.

The winner of that game is on to the semifinals, played on Saturday. The most likely opponent would be 4-seed Vanderbilt.

The championship game is scheduled for Sunday at 2 p.m. All games are on SEC Network, but the finals airing on ESPN2.

Other top seeds are 2-seed Arkansas and 3-seed LSU.
