Zakai Zeigler and Chaz Lanier continue to garner postseason accolades.
The Tennessee backcourt duo, who helped lead the Vols to the SEC Tournament Championship Game and a No. 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament, landed on the Associated Press and National Association of Basketball Coaches All-American Teams this week.

Zeigler made the AP All-American Third Team, while Lanier was an Honorable Mention on Tuesday. Both players were Third Team selections on the NABC All-American Team on Wednesday, the day before Tennessee opens the tournament against 15-seed Wofford at Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky (6:50 p.m. ET, TNT).
The AP and NABC are one of four selectors recognized by the NCAA to be considered a consensus All-American. Sporting News and USBWA are the others.
Zeigler and Lanier were previously tabbed to Sporting News' All-America Third Team on March 12.
Zeigler, the Vols' senior guard and two-time SEC Defensive Player of the Year, is averaging 13.8 points, 7.3 assists, 3.1 rebounds and 1.9 steals per game. He finished in double scoring figures in 27 of the 33 games he has played this season, including a 20-point outing in Tennessee's 70-65 SEC Tournament Semifinal win over Auburn on March 15.
Lanier continues to make an impact in his lone season with the program. A North Florida transfer and fifth-year guard that was named the SEC Newcomer of the Year earlier this month, he is averaging a team-best 17.7 points per game, along with 3.8 rebounds and 1.0 assists.
Lanier is shooting 40.0% from three-point range and is just the third Tennessee player ever to make 100 or more 3-pointers in a single season.
