Slaughter primarily played safety at Tennessee, splitting time with special teams.
A former three-star prospect from Southhaven, Mississippi, Slaugther signed with the Vols in the 2023 class and appeared in 13 games as a freshman.
Slaugther played in a reserve role last season, playing in 10 games with five tackles, 0.5 tackles for loss and one interception against UTEP.
With Slaughter committed, three of the seven Tennessee players that entered the transfer portal over the last month have found teams.
Defensive back Christian Charles committed to Virginia earlier this week and wide receiver Dayton Sneed committed to North Carolina.
