Average finish

There isn't much worry the Lady Vols will be on the wrong end of a 5-12 upset. 90% of people have Tennessee downing 12-seed USF in the opening round on Friday night.

Then, it's the Lady Vols squaring off with 4-seed Ohio State. That game is a coin flip, with 50% of people picking both sides. However, slightly more people picked the Buckeyes, leading to them advancing to the Sweet 16 in the 'people's bracket.'

The following round is handily projected to be won by 1-seed Texas anyway, though. The Longhorns beat Ohio State in 88% of brackets with that matchup.

To win the title

While Tennessee is projected to get cut short in the Round of 32 in most brackets, the Lady Vols are still among the top teams with a chance to win the title.

0.7% of brackets have Tennessee cutting down the nets, the 13th-best mark of all teams. This places the Lady Vols behind all one and two seeds but above Oklahoma which is a three seed.

The most common picked winner is South Carolina with 26.7% of brackets choosing the Gamecocks as the winner. Second is 20.4% of brackets choosing UConn. USC comes in at third with 12.9%.

Vegas odds

Vegas likes Tennessee, too. The Lady Vols have a tie for the 12th-best odds to win the national title at 175-1. This is a draw with 4-seed Ohio State and 3-seed North Carolina. These odds are better than three four seeds and a three seed, as well.

To make the championship game, the Tennessee has 28-1 odds. To make the Final Four, it is 25-1.

For the Lady Vols to return to the Sweet 16, the odds sit at -115.

To win the opening game against USF, Tennessee is 19.5-point favorites. It sits at -4737.
