Weeks removed from its national championship run, Tennessee baseball is gaining more traction in the transfer portal.
The Vols added former Louisville infielder Gavin Kilen on Thursday, adding an impressive bat to their lineup for 2025.

Klein announced his commitment in an Instagram post with the caption, “See you soon, Knoxville.”
Klein, who is rated as the No. 1 player in the transfer portal according to Baseball America, was an All-ACC Third Team selection after leading the Cardinals with 69 hits, 22 doubles and 124 total bases.
He batted .339 and accounted for nine home runs.
Defensively, Klein started at shortstop in 54 of Louisville’s 56 games after appearing at both second base and short stops a freshman in 2023.
Tennessee is still piecing together its roster after winning the College World Series finals late last month.
The Vols are expected to lose a number of key infielders, including second baseman Christian Moore, first baseman Blake Burke and third baseman Billy Amick.
Klein is the second transfer portal addition for Tennessee in the last week after it added Kennesaw State right-handed pitcher Tanner Franklin on July 2.
